Epic Winter Sunset on Third Beach in Stanley Park

Metro Vancouver school districts in Richmond, Sea-to-Sky, Conseil Scolaire Francophone, Surrey, Delta, Vancouver, North Vancouver, Burnaby, and New Westminster are all hiring teachers.  The district with the greatest number of teacher job openings is Vancouver where there is a need to fill on-call teachers in French Immersion, Elementary, Math, Special Education, Japanese, Mandarin, Adult Education, and Technical Studies roles.

Not hiring last month, Richmond, Sea to Sky and BC's francophone school boards have all added new teacher job postings. The common need among all districts is in the area of French Immersion. In every Metro Vancouver school district, there is a job opening for French Immersion teachers, and in the case of the francophone school board, there is a need for highly fluent French-speaking teachers.

The Metro Vancouver region is comprised of eleven school districts including Vancouver, Burnaby, and Surrey.  The Metro Vancouver region is an attractive destination for those who enjoy indoor and outdoor activities, and a wide variety of entertainment and tranquillity.  Within a day you could go skiing in Whistler, ride the Christmas Train at Stanley Park, watch a Vancouver Canucks Hockey game and dine-in at one Metro Vancouver's 5,000 restaurants.  Not only is it a great place to live, it's also a great place to start and establish your teaching career.

Please note that even though the majority Metro Vancouver school districts will ask you to apply online, some school districts still prefer receive paper applications. If you're interested in starting a teaching career in a Metro Vancouver school, apply for a job today!
