Howe Sound Changes Name to Sea to Sky

Howe Sound:  School District 48 adopts a new name to better reflect its schools and community.  As of January 1st, 2009, Howe Sound will be known as the Sea to Sky school district.

Make A Future – Careers in BC Education recognizes this change and its site has been updated.  Information about Howe Sound's community and its job advertisements can now be found under the name of Sea to Sky.

The district encompasses communities in Squamish, Pemberton, and Whistler-a site for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
