Make a Future and British Columbia school districts are continuing their cross-country tour of Canada to recruit teachers for jobs in BC schools. We're travelling to Toronto, Quebec City, Nova Scotia, and Victoria to meet with teacher education students at the local universities.

On January 23rd, we'll be in Toronto, Ontario attending York University's Winter Career Fair to meet with soon-to-be-graduating students enrolled in the school's teacher education training program. From 10 am to 3 pm, you can stop by stand #39 to pick-up some exclusive Make a Future swag and meet with one of our reps for more information about teaching in BC.

On the same day, we're at the University of Victoria Education Fair from 10 am to 3 pm with other BC school districts recruiting teachers for the next school year. Stop by the Student Union Building from 10 am to 3 pm to land your dream job on Vancouver Island or the Mainland.

On Friday, January 24th, Make a Future will be in Sudbury, Ontario at the Laurentian University Education Recruitment Fair. We are looking for French-speaking teachers interested in taking on one of the forty-three full-time teaching jobs our schools across BC–rejoignez-nous!

If you're looking for a career-changing experience this Saturday and you happen to be in Halifax, Nova Scotia, join us at the B. Ed National-International Job Search. The job market in Canada's West Coast is excellent for prospective Nova Scotia and Maritime teachers looking for full-time teaching jobs.

Currently, there are opportunities for primary, intermediate and secondary teachers in almost every subject area. In particular, BC schools are in greatest need of Special Education, French Immersion, Senior Math, Senior Sciences, Technology Education and Learning Assistance/Support teachers.

Teacher certification in BC

Are you worried that you'll need to take more courses to qualify for a teaching certificate in BC? Under the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), teachers in other provinces may qualify for a BC teaching certificate without additional courses or exams.
