We are hiring French Teachers now!

Small classes, strong community, exceptional lifestyle.

School District 27 (Cariboo-Chilcotin) is currently hiring French teachers, with several positions open across the district. Covering a region the size of New Brunswick across forests, lakes, plains, and mountains on the traditional and unceded territories of the Secwepemc, Tsilhqot’in, and Dakelh First Nations, SD27 serves approximately 4,600 students in 22 schools ranging from very small rural communities to larger centres.

The district offers affordable living and shorter commutes, along with flexible French teaching opportunities (Secondary and Core French). Teachers work in small class settings within a strong Indigenous learning context and benefit from clear career growth pathways, including eligibility for loan forgiveness programs and access to provincial loan forgiveness support.
