Specialty Programs

Schools are staffed with a 10 to 1 pupil-teacher ratio to best serve the needs of our students. There are a wide variety of cultural and outdoor activities offered throughout the year. Teachers are afforded many opportunities for professional development, and we encourage collaboration and the development of learning communities.

Salary and Benefits

Teachers typically receive a comprehensive benefits package including:

ALLOWANCES

Teachers in positions with special responsibilities, e.g. department heads, teacher consultants, teacher coordinators, counsellors, psychologists, alternate school teachers, speech pathologists, may receive a financial allowance of $2,000-$4,000 annually.
