Teachers needed for full-time roles in Northern British Columbia

The school year is just around the corner, and several Northern British Columbia school districts are looking for teachers to fill full-time, part-time, and on-call roles. As of August 23rd, there are 75 full-time teaching positions available in Northern BC's public school districts. In particular, Coast Mountains School District #82 serving the communities of Hazelton, Terrace, and Kitwanga is struggling to fill roles in their rural and remote secondary and elementary school locations. School District #82 is located in Northwestern British Columbia serving approximately 4,500 students. The district's catchment encompasses three First Nations territories including the Gitksan, the Haisla, and the Tsimshian.
