Recruiting Lakehead University Students for Teaching Careers in BC
Make a Future and seven British Columbia school districts will be descending upon the Lakehead University campus on January 17, 2018, to spread the word that the province's schools are hiring!
BC school districts including Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Nechako Lakes, Peace River North, Peace River South, Rocky Mountain and North Okanagan-Shuswap will be attending Lakehead University's annual Education Career Expo from 10 am to 3 pm. The career event will take place in the Agora and Faculty lounge.
In addition to BC's public school districts, Maple Leaf Educational Systems will be recruiting teachers to their BC-certified offshore schools in China.
Currently, there are 53 advertised job postings among the BC school districts attending the career expo. Employers will be actively recruiting Lakedhead University teacher education students for a full-time, part-time, and on-call roles in a variety of subjects and grade-levels.
