July's Full-time Teaching Jobs in Metro Vancouver Schools
BC teachers rejoice, there are 42 full-time teaching opportunities available in Metro Vancouver school districts. 19 of these full-time teaching opportunities are with the Vancouver School District #39 (Vancouver School Board). The school district is recruiting teachers for specialized teaching roles including French Immersion, Learning Assistance, Mandarin Immersion, Secondary Science, Technology Education and other areas.
Other school districts in the region including Burnaby, Delta, New Westminster, North Vancouver, Richmond, Sea to Sky, Surrey, West Vancouver and Le Conseil Scolaire Francophone de la Colombie-Britannique are all hiring teachers. These districts are in high need of French Immersion Teachers, Special Education Teachers, and Learning Assistance Teachers.
Since January 2017, there has been a spike in teaching jobs in British Columbia. Between January to June, Metro Vancouver school districts advertised 30% more jobs compared to the same period last year. The largest increases in teaching jobs were in the school districts of West Vancouver and New Westminster. There has never been a better time to find a job in BC schools.
