Information sessions cover various topics and are conducted independently or with districts, government bodies and universities. Throughout the year, we offer sessions that answer questions including:

• Understanding how to get certified to teach in BC 

• Tips and tricks for a successful interview 

• Face to face time with hiring managers from various schools and districts

Make the most out of an Information Session 

• Read the information session description carefully when you register. This helps you know the full context of the session and whether it's right for you. 

• Research the employers ahead of time so you can come prepared with questions. 

• We will try to start promptly, so try to arrive on time so you don't miss anything. 

• The presentations are not always available after a session, so take notes on things you don't want to forget. 

• Please ask general questions only; we will be unable to answer personal inquiries at an information session. Those can be emailed after the session. 

• Follow up with any guests you found interesting, thanking them for their time and inquiring further on any other questions you have.
