BC School Districts Are Recruiting Teachers at McGill University
Make a Future, Surrey School District 36, Vancouver School District 39, and le Conseil scolaire francophone de la Colombie-Britannique will be in Montreal on Monday, February 5th, 2018 to attend McGill University's 27th Annual Education Career Fair. BC school districts will be looking to recruit for the Spring and the following school year. There may also be opportunities for McGill students that are currently working to complete their teacher education training to inquire about the possibility of completing a practicum in British Columbia.
Around the province, there are over 450 teaching opportunities currently available. There are a variety of teaching opportunities in French Immersion, Mandarin Immersion, Special Education, Resource/Reading Recovery, Fine Arts, Music/band, Adult Education, PE, Math and in many other subject areas and grade levels. Between the three school districts attending the career fair, there are 64 job openings.
The career fair will take place on the 3rd floor of the Student Union Building in the Shatner Ballroom from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
