Why Teach at Houston Christian School?
Our goal is to create a secure environment that supports each student’s academic, spiritual, physical, social, artistic and emotional development.
We aim to equip our students with discernment and confidence, guiding them toward stewardship and a desire to emulate Christ. By empowering them through the Holy Spirit, we encourage our students to transform society rather than conform to it.
Along with ensuring our teachers are qualified and certified, Houston Christian School also requires teachers to provide evidence of courses of study, work experience and university graduation programs that intentionally equip a teacher to teach from a Christian perspective and model Christian values.
