Founded in 2013, Coast Mountain Academy is an independent Grades 7–12 school focused on outdoor, experiential, and university-preparatory learning. Our skilled and fun-loving educators and support staff thrive in small class sizes and a collaborative culture, creating meaningful learning experiences both in and beyond the classroom.

Compensation is aligned with the School District No. 48 (Sea to Sky) salary grid.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

We offer regular internal professional development and fully support staff in pursuing external learning opportunities of their choice.

Application requirements

Expressions of interest should include a résumé and two professional references who have observed your teaching practice.

In place of a traditional cover letter, applicants are invited to submit a piece of original application material that reflects their interests, creativity, and approach to learning. This may include, but is not limited to, an instructional video, trip report, photo essay, artwork, personal website, or other personally created project.
