As faithful followers of Christ, Centennial Christian School invites students to explore their role in God’s story while nurturing and empowering students to Christ-like living. Intentionally integrating faith and faith formation into the entire learning environment, we equip students to become transforming agents serving in God’s world.
Through formational learning experiences, students explore and strengthen their gifts while impacting their local and global communities for Christ. Our excellent staff, facilities, resources and community partners enable students to flourish in all areas of life embracing a HEAD, HEART and HANDS approach to joyful kingdom service.
THE COMMUNITY
Centennial Christian School is located in Terrace, a northern BC community filled with many opportunities to experience God’s creation and enjoy his many blessings.
We work collaboratively with families to meet the individualized learning needs of all students in smaller classroom sizes.
LIFESTYLE AND RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
While living in Terrace, you can spend all of your spare time hiking, golfing, skiing, snowboarding, fishing, and enjoying endless outdoor activities. In the city, we have the Terrace Sportplex and Aquatic Centre where you can go skating and swimming.
Salary and Benefits
We value our teachers, which is reflected in our salary and compensation. Our teachers earn above the local public school district’s salary grid starting from $50,000 to $90,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to receiving excellent professional development opportunities, our teachers are able to attend the annual Christian teacher’s convention in Vancouver.To assist teachers in moving to our community, we offer a moving allowance. In some cases, we may be able to assist with student loan payments.
