Finance
The Secretary Treasurer is the the Chief Financial Officer and member of the senior management team. The Secretary Treasurer is responsible for the financial, legal and general business activities of the District. Other positions within the financial management team include the Assistant Secretary Treasurer, Director of Finance, Comptroller, Accountant, Supervisor of Payroll, and Manager of Procurement (Purchasing).
Related degree, diploma, certificate or combination of experience and training. Some positions may require professional designation or certification.
Manager of payroll may require a certified payroll manager certificate. Manager of Procurement (Purchasing) may require purchasing certification. All other positions require an accounting designation.

Human Resources
Responsible for the overall management and delivery of all human resources and labour relations services. These positions include: Director of Human Resources, Manager of Human Resources and Human Resources Officers.

May require BC College of Teachers Certificate. May require Certified Human Resource Professional designation.

Maintenance
Responsible for the overall management of School District operations, grounds and facilities. This may also include assisting with the development of capital plans, management of grounds and building maintenance and management of custodial operations. Positions with responsibilities in these areas include: Director of Facilities, Maintenance Manager, Manager of Operations, Custodial Manager, and Project Managers.
Related degree, diploma, certificate or combination of experience and training. Some positions may require professional designation or certification
Certification may include Professional Engineering designations to Trades Qualifications.
Transportation
Transportation Supervisor or coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination of Transportation services including the organization of school bus routes, bus maintenance and bus related staffing.

May require diploma in transportation management and a valid class 2 BC driver’s license.
Information Technology
As members of the management team, Manager of Information Systems, Manager of Information Technology, Director of Information Technology, System Analyst Programmer, Coordinator of Learning and Information Technology are titles of positions that facilitate the Information Technology services and support in school districts.
May require a university degree in information technology or related discipline or technical training from an IT training institute.
