About
We provide all learners with an opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills according to individual potential, to develop positive attitudes towards lifelong learning and to develop personal social values that will prepare them to participate in and contribute to a healthy, sustainable and democratic society.
Regional Diversity
Revelstoke is located on the Trans-Canada Highway adjacent to the Okanagan and Kootenay regions. We are a vibrant, historic mountain community of 7,500.
Specialty Programs
Revelstoke is a “can do” community. Our Board of Education provides a comprehensive early identification and intervention program that supports the success of all learners. Smaller class sizes and extensive student support services all contribute to an extremely effective school district.
Community Culture
Revelstoke offers numerous opportunities for artistic, cultural and outdoor pursuits. The new Revelstoke Mountain Resort has some of the best skiing in North America, and the cross-country skiing, backcountry skiing and snowmobiling opportunities in our area are first rate. The two national parks in our backyard and numerous lakes and rivers make this an outdoor enthusiasts’ playground.
Draw for Employees
We boast outstanding relationships among administration, support staff and our professional teaching staff. Problems are solved promptly and professionally with high levels of collaboration, and our Board, Parent Advisory Councils and community all support what is best for students.
