Regional Diversity
The Stikine is a pristine natural environment that suits outdoor enthusiasts of all interests, as well as those who just prefer a slower-paced life. Avid history buffs will enjoy discovering the many stories these spaces hold. This is rural living at its best!
Specialty Programs
Schools are staffed with a 10 to 1 pupil- teacher ratio to best serve the needs of our students. There are a wide variety of cultural and outdoor activities offered throughout the year. Teachers are afforded many opportunities for professional development, and we encourage collaboration and the development of learning communities.
Community Culture
Three distinct First Nations (Tahltan, Taku River Tlingit and Kaska) contribute their culture and traditions to help form each close knit community. Our schools are the centres of community life.
