Vancouver Island University’s New Master’s Program for Teachers

A Master of Education in Special Education is one of eight new degree programs announced by Moira Stilwell, Minister of Advanced Education and Labour Market Development.

This two-year program is offered out of Vancouver Island University’s Nanaimo, BC campus, and applications are currently being accepted.

Full-time Career Opportunities in a Historic New School

School District No. 57, located centrally in Prince George British Columbia, is recruiting to fill several full-time teaching positions in its newest concept elementary Aboriginal Choice School.

A historical first for the province, the Aboriginal Choice School was created as a way of engaging and improving the academic success rates of Aboriginal students in the community by recommendation of the Aboriginal Board of Education’s Aboriginal Education Task Force report.

Server Errors and Online Application Problems

The technology behind Makeafuture.ca’s online application is provided by our partner,applytoeducation.com. On June 21, applytoeducation.com performed service upgrades to their servers, which created some problems on Makeafuture.ca. As a result, applicants applying through the online application system are receiving server errors messages.
